How to improve the excessive wear of EDM power feeder?

First, the reasonable collocation of pulse parameters
In NC high speed wire WEDM, the larger alumina particles are easily produced in the wide pulse width, and the larger particles are also produced when the pulse interval is small. The electrode wire is easy to adhere to these large processing particles, which has a great negative effect on the processing. By increasing the no-load voltage value of pulse current, decreasing pulse width and increasing pulse gap, the possibility of sticking to electrode wire can be reduced.genos1818
Second,requirements for working fluids
At present, the aqueous solution is used as the working fluid of NC high speed wire WEDM. The conventional configuration is 1..10 and the processing aluminum material is 3.8. In order to keep the working fluid clean and make it work effectively, the sponge can be used to avoid flowing into the water tank, keep the working fluid unblocked and reduce the adhesion. The sponge is replaced regularly.
Third,operation skills
A sponge can be added to the rear end slot of the on-line rack, and the high speed reciprocating electrode wire is sponged by the sponge to reduce the jitter of the electrode wire and ensure the normal operation of the power supply.
